This policy explains what Elyon ("Elyon", "we") collects when you use our website and app, why, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to give you a personal Bible companion, and we never sell your data.
What we collect
Information you give us: your first name, email address, the answers you share during onboarding (such as what you're grateful for and what's weighing on you), your daily check-ins, the questions you ask and the reflections you save.
Subscription information: your plan, trial and billing status. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
Technical information: device and browser type, pages visited and basic usage events, used to keep the service working and improve it.
How we use it
To personalise your daily plan, devotionals, prayers and answers.
To manage your subscription and send you account and billing emails.
To keep Elyon safe, secure and reliable, and to understand how to make it better.
AI and your conversations
Elyon uses an AI model provided by Anthropic to write devotionals, prayers and answers. To do this, the relevant parts of what you share are sent to Anthropic for processing under contractual safeguards. They are not used by us to advertise to you and are not sold.
Please avoid sharing sensitive information you are not comfortable having processed in this way.
Who we share it with
Service providers that help us run Elyon — such as hosting, payments (Stripe), email delivery and AI processing (Anthropic) — only as needed to provide the service.
Authorities, when required by law. We never sell your personal information.
Your choices and rights
You can access, correct or delete your information, or ask a question about your data, by writing to [email protected]. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or Brazil's LGPD), you may have additional rights, and we will honour them.
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in each message.
Retention and security
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe.
Children
Elyon is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their information.
